Morfi Café in San Isidro is one of those places that feels calm the moment you walk in. They work with Peruvian specialty coffee, and the coffee is genuinely well made. The cappuccino is easy to enjoy, no complications. The hot chocolate with whipped cream was one of the highlights: creamy, with a nice consistency, not heavy at all, and the kind of drink that makes you want to order it again.
The breakfasts come as set options, which makes choosing simple. The American breakfast includes strawberry juice, a cappuccino, toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. It’s filling, well served, and a great way to start the day. There’s also a simpler option with pineapple juice, an Americano, and toast with butter and jam; classic and perfect if you’re looking for something lighter.
The only thing that could improve is the juices. Both the strawberry and the pineapple felt a bit light and not very sweet. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but you do notice it compared to how good the coffee and hot chocolate are.
It’s pet-friendly, even their logo is a dog which gives it a warm, approachable feel. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, ideal for a slow breakfast or staying a little longer to chat. Overall, it’s a solid option in the area.
