The story of Casa Lola does not begin as a café, but as a granola project that has been developing for ten years. It was only in August 2021 that this idea took physical form as a café in Barranco, while preserving a clear and simple origin.
That beginning is still present in the space. It doesn’t feel like a cafe created to follow trends, but rather like a project that grew organically over time. Recently, this idea expanded with the opening of a small market across from the main location, functioning as a natural extension of the café and its philosophy.
The coffee they work with is Peruvian, sourced from Cusco and Villa Rica. They also offer V60 brewing, inviting a slower and more intentional way of experiencing coffee. For those who prefer to take that experience home, whole coffee beans are also available for purchase.
Casa Lola is built on consistency and attention to detail. It is a place that doesn’t seek to impose itself, but rather to accompany the rhythm of those who arrive. Barranco suits it well for that reason: the space blends into the neighborhood effortlessly, staying true to its essence from the very beginning.
